Seeds of Promise Project - KCDC 315 Collaborative Design Projects - Kendall
In this semester long research based project, the students worked with a local non profit, Seeds of Promise, to explore how vacant lots in the area that Seeds serves could be used to create low cost housing for the homeless individuals that the program serves. The students spent 8 weeks in research and discussion with community partners, generated site and building plans, and concluded the semester with a 1-hour presentation to the community of their research and recommendations along with a ready to build design.
